GA-EP45-DS3L & E8600 overclocking help please

Hello


I am trying to overclock the GA-EP45-DS3L with E8600 and I would like to hit what is suppose to be easy 4.0ghz on stock voltage ........... maybe stock is not the answer?

Ram = Corsair Dominator PC8500 >>> 2 x 2 gig sticks

so far I have tried

disable EIST and the C1 option

set CPU Host freq to 400

memory SPD = 2.0

+.03volts on the ram

stock voltage

Ram settings are left at auto / unchanged


the system ran orthos stable for 45 minutes at 4.0ghz before it stopped ........... could you give me some ideas of what needs to be tweaked
