Re: New to OC what can I do

    Whats your mem voltage at?

You can try PL(static tRead) of 7, but many times it may not work.

Other than that try to tighten the timings, again you may need more dram voltages
    New Q9650, Gigabyte UD3P, 4GB OCZ Platinum, Asus TOP 4850, Antec TP3 550W, Vista 64 SP1/XP SP3.

Re: New to OC what can I do

      I'll try that thanks

Currently running voltages on auto since I haven't had any instability issues but will mess around with them if needed.

Re: New to OC what can I do

Auto Voltages WAY Overvolt things when overclocked! I STRONGLY Advise you manually set them, PLL and Vtt (Termination) for sure, as well as ram voltage

If you want a full set of suggested settings let me know and I will post you some

As for now you can try this range of settings to get better performance from what you have above >>>

        Advanced Timing Control
        tRRD...........................................3-4
        tWTR..........................................3-6
        tWR............................................4-6
        tRFC...........................................52-62
        tRTP...........................................3-5
        Command Rate (CMD) ....................:2

        Driving Strength Profiles
Driving Strength ............................1066 << Benchmark/test 800 -1066 -1200 each to see what gives best results

        Channel A
        Static tRead Value.........................:8 << Try 6-7

Re: New to OC what can I do

Thank you so much for your help! Quick question: is there any detriment to leaving on CPU EIST and C1E? The only reason I ask is I leave my computer on 24/7 to seed torrents so there is quite a bit of time where I'm not using the processor besides utorrent. Just wondering if there is any performance hit by leaving it on when I am using it.
