EP35-DS3L E5200 or Quad

I have a ep35-ds3l with E2160 oc to 2.99GHz, I am thinking of upgrading to a E5200 or e8400 hopefully oc to 4GHz.
Or maybe going with a quad oc ?
Not sure which will give me a better improvement.

Can this board get over 4 GHz?

Get a 8400 if you want to do 4Ghz easily. Yes that board will do 4Ghz, not sure about more, but my P35 (DS4 model) I did 4.4GHz with
