  • GA-P35-DS4 rev2.0 & 4x1Gb A-Data Vdimm bug???

Hello!!! Can you help me?? Please!!
    I have 4x1gb A-Data Vitesta Extreme 800 + CL4 DDRII on P35-DS4 rev 2.0
If I select in bios at DDR2 Overvoltage +0.25 v, PCHealth Status, Everest, Speedfan, EasyTune and other programs say they are monitoring me to 2,01 v. should be 2,05v
DDR2 Ovevoltage +0,05 -----> Vdimm does not change
    DDR2 Overvoltage +0.30 ----> 2,06v should be 2,1v
    DDR2 Overvoltage +0.35 ----> 2,11v should be 2,15v
Only if I select +0,4v, the motherboard provided to the memory 2,21v. Only +0,4v is OK
All values below +0.4 do not provide a proper voltage.

The motherboard is not supplying the correct voltage.
Now I have selected +0.35 v at bios and motherboard provided to the memory 2,11v

Bios F13, F14a and F14c. None of them solved the problem

2.0-2.1V is good, even if your ram is rated at 2.2V that is just the warranty amount of voltage not what you need to be stable or to use the ram. Most all DDR2 would work fine at 1.9-2.0V

Here is what I would suggest for what you gave >>>

      Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto]
      CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [9]
      Fine Clock Ratio ____________[0.0]
      CPU Host Clock Control_ [Enabled]
CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [400] << use 399 or 401
      PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [101]
      C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled]
      System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [2.00]
DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [Manual]

Performance Enhance = [Turbo] << Standard
      SPD Manual
      CAS Latency Time________________ 5 --- 4
      Dram RAS# to CAS# Delay_________ 5 --- 4
      Dram RAS# Precharge Delay_______ 5 --- 4
      Precharge Delay (tRAS)__________ 15 --- 12

ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)_________ 3-4
Rank Write to READ Delay________ 3-6
      Write to Precharge Delay_________ 4-8
Refresh to ACT Delay_____________ 42 --- [52-65] << Way to low for 4GB, have you loaded optimized defaults since your last flash? If not that could be why this is so low, and could also be why your voltage issue seems to not change between BIOS versions. You MUST Load optimized Defaults and then set your ram voltage ONLY and save/apply/reboot BACK TO THE BIOS after ALL Flashes. You MUST go back to the BIOS after that to set your SATA/Disk settings again, as well as all other changes. If you are not loading optimized after you flash this may be the whole issue you have with BIOS Revisions

      Read to Precharge Delay__________ 3-5
      Static tRead Value_______________ 7-10
Static tRead Phase Adjust________ 0 --- [Auto]

      System Voltage Control____ [Manual]
DDR2 OverVoltage Control__ [+0.35V]--->2,11v (2.0-2.1V) Got a link to your ram?
      PCI-E OverVoltage Control_ [+0.05V]
      FSB OverVoltage Control___ [+0.10V]
      (G)MCH OverVoltage Control [+0.150V] << +0.2-0.3 for 4x1GB
Load Line Calibration_____ [Enabled] << Disable for 45NM CPU
CPU Voltage Control_______ [1.19375] << More because you should disable LLC
