Are others having issues with fan control with System Information Viewer (SIV)? I upgraded to the latest BIOS (F35d) for my X570 Aorus Ultra. In SIV, I re-calibrated the fans. Manual fan curves under Smart Fan 5 Advanced are not saving or seeming to take effect correctly. App Center shows that I'm running version B21.1021.1 of SIV. I am running Windows 11, in case it matters.
No announcement yet.

Hello,
I noticed the “Major vulnerabilities updates” for the X299X Aorus Master in December and downloaded the “mb_bios_x299x-aorus-master_f3m.zip with a X29XAOMA.F3m bios.
I checked the same link today and discovered that the file has changed to “mb_bios_x299x-aorus-master_f3m_n.zip” with a renamed X299XAORUSMASTER.F3m bios file. The new zip file contains a flash utility and instruction for using a “USB flash drive to boot the system in EFI shell mode.”
The above noted, can someone please shed some light on the “major vulnerabilities” that are corrected with the latest round of beta bios updates, if it is possible to go back to a previous bios or boot to the backup bios, and why gigabyte released two versions of the F3m bios? I am running F3l.
Related, has anyone successfully flashed the X299X Aorus Master with F3m or f3m_n, or the f3m_n EFI shell utility.
Thank you.

I think it was working on F33 or something before that then just borked after that.

It works after subsequent locking of Windows, but not on the initial boot. I have cleared CMOS and loaded defaults in BIOS, but it didn't help.

This is a nice fan-control program--continuing development and updates much more reliable than SIV of late. IIRC, ~$24 for three-year update license, and will continue to function past that date if you do not decide to renew. Works great in my x570 Aorus Master.

As someone running a custom liquid loop, there is no way around aquacomputer's lineup of products. Their aquasuite is genuinely the best piece of PC hardware controlling software I have used.
Their Quadro Fan Controller is in the same Price Range, and that would give you a lot more capabilities, including RGB Controls that actually work unlike RGB Fusion...
Other than that, I can also second what TwistedKestrel has said. FanControl is straightforward and works.
