@i8192
dont worry about qvl. it only means they were tested together, nothing else.
non of the qvl kits i tried, ran without manually setting voltage to 1.35 (using different kit), even for jedec spec,
most would do full xmp profile (especially 1T)
all the kits NOT on the list, worked out of box, and xpm settings stable (hci 1000%).
@FedeS
so if you dont have the (same) issues, they dont exist? lol
@all
some trouble is with bios updates not completely clearing chip,
especially on dual bios boards, even taking out the battery wont help.
use dos to flash, set /C /DB, this will clear the chips prior to updating, last flag will update backup chip.
most Gb boards apply too much V for soc/ram with auto, so i usually set these manually,
and even then you usually see more than what you set ([email protected] gets me 1.38v).
on mine i even had to set bclk (would randomly change between 101-114).
@TechFreak
unless i missed something (and your ram does 2733@jedec), you're oc the ram without adding v...
csm is related to boot (mbr vs gbt), nothing else.
just because something else behaved differently, doesnt mean there is a correlation..
turn svm off, unless you really need it, same for spread spectrum, should be disabled.
set global c state/ccx related to enabled, set fclk man, if=mem clk, and set 1.05 for soc (man, not offset), and 950-1000mV for vddg.
i would try F33a or c, F32 got me cold boot issues, and did mem training/reset on ram settings that before/after F32.
def try using dos for flash (use rufus to make usb stick, copy bios/efiflash/autoexe, set bios to csm ..

quality of posts becomes irrelevant, as long as they keep saying, there isnt anything wrong.
first time in 20y (~50 rigs) that i couldnt post with qvl ram, Erp not usable (disables wireless chips),
all on a +300$ board, thats a joke.
especially when i see how "flawless" the 150+200$ msi boards work i installed on other rigs (all x570)..
