Battler624 maceh, this is an old thread that I don't think is being used anymore, but it shows that they are aware of the problem/working on a fix.

I enjoy how Gigabyte likes to pass the buck here. You guys selected this chip when you built this motherboard, where was the due diligence? Even cursory testing would have shown this up.
If the transmission in my car was faulty the company isn't going to say please contact ZF Friedrichshafen because this isn't our issue. This is a Gigabyte NIC as far as I'm concerned as you put it inside your motherboard.
10046 that Stasio posted fixed 100% for me, downloading all kind of files, seeding a lot of torrents for 4 days and not a single disconect.

Thanks for trying to assist though.

There are two issues. The driver fixes the disconnects that get registered in the event log. There's another issue with the NIC that the new driver does not fix. For some reason, the NIC sometimes takes down the WHOLE network in the house. I ran wireshark and noticed ARP storm coming from the NIC. You will notice the switches in your house will ALL blink in a synchronous matter when this happens.
