Hi, tested all of the versions for the B550I Pro AX in the last weeks. It keeps getting better and better, I run my IF at 1867 now (1900 is possible but unstable, may aswell be the OCed RAM?).
No WHEA since 2 versions.
But: With the latest (F11) BIOS my CPU runs at least 5K hotter than with any other BIOS. I haven't had a noticable change in the temperatures with the other versions.
Idle before: CPU Die average: min. 30°C up to 35°C; Max 73°C
Idle with F11: CPU Die average: min 35°C up to 40°C; Max 78°C
Anyone noticed somithing like that? Voltages and EDC/TDC stayed basically the same. Ambient tempeature stayed the same (maybe 1K less than before). IF clock is the same, CPU clocks the same.
Can someone help me find an explanation?
Made a screenshot: left is now, right is older BIOS: https://img.techpowerup.org/201210/capture055.jpg
Thanks for your great work stasio, I had a lot of fun with my Ryzen thanks to you!
