I can confirm the Disaply Port bios bug on Z390 M Gaming F9K is fixed with F9L
Whats not fixed
PCIEX1_1 = Fails to enumerate NVME Drive in windows when Package C State Limit = C10 (Fixed on custom build gigabyte made for me Z390 M Gaming GA F9j Bios 28-05-20)
PCIEX1_2 = Fails to enumerate NVME Drive in windows when Package C State Limit = C10 (Fixed on custom build gigabyte made for me Z390 M Gaming GA F9j Bios 28-05-20)
PCIEX4 = Fails to enumerate NVME Drive in windows when Package C State Limit = C10 (Fixed on custom build gigabyte made for me Z390 M Gaming GA F9j Bios 28-05-20)
But hasnt been introduced on newer firmware builds for some reason
Nvme 4kn Boot support with CSM Support = Disabled (Gigabyte seem to be having problems replicating this)
None of my 5 Nvme Drives are bootable when set to 4kn via Sabrent SSC
M2P Sabrent Rocket 2TB FW: RKT303.3 actual Phison firmware ECFM22.6 (not bootable set to 4kn)
M2Q Sabrent Rocket 1TB FW: RKT303.1 actual Phison firmware ECFM22.4 (not bootable set to 4kn)
PCIEX4 Sabrent Rocket 1TB FW: RKT303.2 actual Phison firmware ECFM22.5 (not bootable set to 4kn)
PCIEX1_1 Intel Opdate 800P 118GB FW:K4110410(512e only)
PCIEX1_2 Corsair MP510 480GB FW: ECFM12.3 (not bootable set to 4kn)Last edited by Shonk; 09-20-2020, 03:06 PM.

Anyone else seeing this problem on the X570 AORUS Master (in my case with F30 BIOS):
Machine was in Sleep mode.
Come back next morning, hit power button, nothing happens.
Look at motherboard, not even the "Power is on" LED is lit. Thinking board is dead, or PSU is dead.
Swap PSU, same thing.
Tried the CMOS reset button on the back, nothing.
Had to remove CMOS battery, pull power cord, short the "CMOS Reset" pins, then put everything back together, and now the machine acts as if nothing happened.
I've been using the exact same BIOS configuration for about a year now, I dial it in exactly the same way for every BIOS.
When I put on the F30 BIOS, I first reset my old BIOS to defaults, then restart the machine, then Flash, then Restore Defaults, Restart, then dial in my settings.
This is the first time this ever happened to me, on any PC.
I *have* seen reports of this in the Gigabyte official forums, at least one at the beginning of this month, when F30 wasn't available yet. Still, I wonder if newer BIOS' have this issue, or if it's not related.

F30 is.. very very strange. I've tried about 50% of all BETAs and none have been this strange.
I just had a thing where I ran CPU-Z bench and the scores were crazy low. Like 10% lower than they should be. Room's not too hot, I had just dusted out all filters on my case. Hmmmm.
Turns out that all cores were locked into 3800MHz. No PBO, nu turbo, nothing. CB20 ran 10% lower as well and the core speeds never budged from 3800.
Done with that BIOS. F12g so far has been my favorite for perf and compatibility with my sound card. Staying with that forever, it seems, which is fine too.

Z390 Master with F11L not training memory Rtl and iols at 4000Mhz and over with two or four b-die sticks. 3900mh works, but 4000mhz not really trying and gives some loose safe settings. Probably same bug with all bios versions. Same sticks did 4133 [email protected] with Asrock z370 K6.

Is there a detailed write up of a change list, performance / stability review of the X570 Master BIOS changes? I am on F11. (I see on the official site the one line notes)
I want a full review of each with a detailed list of changes and fixes so I can review the different changes to make sure I haven't broken anything. As a bonus performance reviews of each? Do you know any site or video reviewer that does this type of work?
