Now updated to 22.50.1.1 for the wifi. Although they're on the same AX200 module the BT seems to be a USB device whereas the wifi is on PCIe and doesn't disappear in the same way.

BT driver 22.20 was supposed to fix the yellow exclamation mark in device manager - but BT disappearing completely is something else.

The Agesa changes seem to be more about about USB disconnects when running so perhaps Gigabyte added something in the latest BIOS to reset the BT device or changed the startup timing or something to recover the module - other brands seemed to have fewer BT issues than the B550i

But I've not seen clear posts saying zero failures after say two weeks of testing - that would make me happy switch to F13i from sticking with a USB BT dongle.

Bluetooth was fixed in F13h. I've had zero issues with BT in F13h and F13i on the B550i Aorux Pro AX board.

Not just GB. Even ASUS has not released the stable BIOS for 1.2.0.2. Maybe the AGESA itself is still not stable.

AGESAs are never the whole story with board bios versions...there is a lot of vendor-specific code (obviously) written in each bios version to support the board vendor's own custom motherboard hardware. There is bug fixing there as well as tying all of that into the AMD AGESAs as AMD releases them.

I just updated my X570 Aorus Ultra from F33h to F33i. My system was not happy with the update. After many reboots, BIOS loading defaults, CMOS resets, and re-flashing, I am finally booted with F33i.

Have you got any beta bios for the B450 Aorus Pro?

Can anyone explain why the motherboard support for the TRX40 Aorus Master Rev1.1 is so pathetic? Since release only one update from original FBi (9months). Find this kind of support for a "flagship" motherboard and processor very disappointing.

I too with the bios f13h and f13i I have no longer detected the disappearance of the BT

however I don't think it depends on agesa


also for ite device they wanted to make believe that the problem was from AMD but then it was fixed without changing agesa

did you install later windows updates and latest Bluetooth driver from intels site?

I think BT driver 22.20 fixed yellow exclamation mark in device manager but the completely disappearing device isn't resolved by driver or Windows (but Realtek 2.5Gb LAN issues are likely driver)

Although the Intel BT is USB its likely not the AGESA change that helped - maybe GB added something in BIOS to reset or work-around the h/w issue that other m/b brands already figured out. I suspect the same for the ITE device.

There's more posts happy with the latest BIOS than not but its still a lottery switching to beta BIOS or the new Realtek driver with minimal release notes and feedback.

Yes I did - but thanks for the suggestion.

I've been designing and diagnosing computer hardware and software for a very long time (since before the first IBM PC) and can usually get most tricky problems resolved but it looks like this one, unfortunately, is going to need a fix from AMD/Gigabyte/Intel.

Just to note, this issue occurs on other boards from other makers that are using the AX200 integrated card. So its not really a GB issue. And on review of the change log from Intel, they are aware of the issue, for quite some time,

I'm aware that other motherboard brands have this issue too but mine is a Gigabyte so I need action from one or more of the three companies I mentioned. I've no way of knowing whether it's simply an Intel driver issue or an interaction with AMD and/or Gigabyte firmware. I haven't seen the change log you mention - do you have a link? If not, I'll go looking.

No doubt Intel are aware of the issue but they can only update drivers and the problem - as has been said over and over - is that the module disappears completely on restart - so its not caused or fixable in drivers or WIndows. What Intel resolved in driver 22.20 was a yellow exclamation mark on resume - which is a different issue as the device is detected.

Although the BT disappearing occurs on other m/b brands it's reported more often on GB and specifically the B550i. So I assume GB have now added something to the latest BIOS to work around the issue that maybe the other brands had already figured out .
