Hello, Stasio.
F33h even more terrible than F33g for Aorus Elite x570. If F33g sometimes caused hard reboot when OS just started then F33h instead cause hard reboot randomly when PC is working. It maybe 30 min or a few hours after boot. And it's not OS fault(it happens both for windows and for linux), before F33g everything was ok. Could you please provide link to pre-F33g bios?

You are not keeping BIOS's ? Is only arround 10MB in zip size.
Secondly,
you also didn't follow my many comments that BIOS's are still on GB web page.
Copy present BIOS F33g link and change "g" to f, e, c, a......and paste back.
I also beleive some links are still in this thread........

Thank you soo much stasio for the old bios links. Much apreciated. I wounder if the bios 12g is the latest one in the 12 family or is it more? I think i have tried 12f for my master at the newest one. And after the 12 family i guess they jumped to 20, right? That ones i cant use to my master board for sure but maybe the latest from the 12 family. excuse me for bad english, hope you understand what i meen...thanks again

Just as with 99% of people here all downloaded bioses are stored in "Download" folder. Which sometimes can be cleared as it becomes too big.
GB web page as I see only store stable and latest beta bioses.
I tried to find links in this thread but search only show that all links should be in first post and first post show only latest beta bioses. Link to "Previous BetaBIOS" from first post only lead to your message:

I'm also hoping for a stable release soon, i have yet to start playing around with the curve optimizer because i want to start doing this on a stable bios with the latest aegsa!

Realtek 2.5Gb LAN driver 10.48 has replaced 10.47 on the GB site with the same optimistic note "Fix random LAN disconnected phenomenon". Comments on https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?t...345823/page-18 arent completely encouraging.

Myself and another forum member are currently testing a 10.49 beta driver provided by realtek. I haven't seen any issues so far, and I don't believe he has either, but of course we're only a sample size of 2. From this at least the take-away can be that Realtek is aware there are still more bugs to be worked out, and 10.49 will be forthcoming. No idea on timeframe.

I'm on a Z490 Vision D, using F20 posted from Page 1, left HWInfo throughout the day and noticed this morning that I have one "WHEA - Machine Check Error (AMD64NB)." Looking at Event Viewer, the only WHEA error I could find is below.

No overclock. Using "Optimized Settings" with Rocket Lake NVMe Mode Enabled (Samsung PRO 980), Above 4G and RE-BAR Enabled. No other changes to BIOS settings.

I freshly installed windows about 4-5 days ago. No idea if F20d exhibited this or not, and I don't have much more information to share than the below.

I never registered because everything I wanted to know

- why are BIOSes posted here and only a few days later on the Gigabyte support page
- what are the changes
- what do other testers experience during their own tests

is either answered in the first post or in this thread.

The release notes aren't useful at all to know what the changes are. The F11 through F12 release notes didn't change at all, so if I was on F11N for example and wanted to know what was in a newer beta version, there was nothing to indicate what changed. Just some anecdotal posts of a few people saying overclocking got better with a similar number of posts saying overclocking got worse. And a lot of posts in between complaining about network drivers which aren't even related to the BIOS.

For some issues SIV doesn't help, some issues are with secondary controller itself that handles fans SYS_4+ and they occur both with SIV and SmartFan/UEFI.

I don't have those issues, glad to say. The UEFI bios controls aren't very good and are not meant to be used as primary fan control--that's what SIV is for. I use Sys2, Sys 5 + Sys4 in SIV to control my noctua fans--no problems at all. Just make sure you are using 4-pin fan headers--3-pin headers will work--but not as well, imo.

I found both F33i and F33j to be very stable, actually. If that's what you are afraid of, you don't need to be. As flashing my x570 Master takes me all of two minutes doing it correctly, I would advise people to try out things for themselves instead of writing posts asking other people to advise them. People act like bios flashing with Q-flash is some great and tall mountain that they dread climbing...;) It's inexplicable to me. If you find you don't like a bios version it's easy enough to flash back the same way. F33j moves some settings around--sweet, no problems thus far. Rebar enabled, XMP, etc.

I'm using 4pin headers and all fans are Noctua A12x25 PWM (they were a bit incompatible with some boards upon release, but it was fixed later on). CPU and SYS_1 and SYS_2 have been working fine for me since the start and they are on the primary ITE controller, SYS_4-5 were/are bugging out on occasion and are on the secondary ITE controller. For now the issue has disappeared with the latest beta and hopefully stays this way in the future.

Try the Gigabyte Main sites...The last several bios versions for my x570 Master are right there, Including F32, etc. going all the way back to bios F4!

I often wonder, however, if people know the correct way to flash a bios:

For instance, clearing CMOS immediately after the flash is mandatory--it is not optional. I tried skipping the Clear CMOS step a couple of times and wound up with unstable bioses that contained a mix of the old & new bios controls! Got system crashes, etc. Went back to the correct flash procedure with the same bios versions and the stability problems vanished. Just pressing the button and releasing it is not nearly enough. Here's what I do every time I flash:

1) Download the bios you want to flash to your bios repository (mine is C:\Aorus Bios Files, and I keep 10 or more of the latest bios files there)
2) Copy the UEFI bios file to your thumb drive, which should be permanently inserted in the backplate port marked "BIOS" (it's just easier to leave a thumb drive there)
3) Reboot, and at the appropriate time begin pressing the END key
4) The bios Q-Flash panel appears, so select your bios version (when I copy the latest bios to my thumb drive, I move the previous bios file to a subfolder I made for that purpose on the thumb drive, so that the only bios version in the root directory is the file I want to flash)
5) Select OK until the bios file begins the flash process (I always flash to the backup bios at the same time--if you have your mechanical backup bios switches set to their default positions, then the option to flash the backup appears as a checkbox which you can fill or not as is your wont--provided you *have* a backup bios to flash, that is...;))
6) When the flashing is complete, you will see a timer counting down from 5-4,3,2,1, and your system then reboots automatically
7) As soon as your system begins to come up, press and hold the PWR key for 4-5 seconds, making sure the system fully shuts down
8) Turn off your PSU, if it has a switch (skip this if it doesn't...;)), and physically unplug the PSU power cord
9) Press and hold the PWR button and count slowly to 20, then release the PWR key
10) Press and hold the Clear CMOS button on the backplate and count slowly to 20, then release the CMOS clear button (Gives the CMOS 20 seconds to fully drain any residual charge)

11) Plug the PSU back in, turn the PSU on (if it has a switch), hit the PWR button and the system will begin to boot, and when the bios comes up hit the F2 Key to go into "Advanced Mode" and put your settings in, save and reboot and you are done.

The above instructions took a lot longer to write than to execute! Avg time for a correct flash is ~ 2 minutes, maybe not that long. If you memorize the above steps such that you can repeat them by rote every time you flash, you will always know that what problems you may have with a bios version are not problems relating to an incomplete/incorrect bios flash.

not since F12, agesa taketh away. i didnt like that decision being made for me, before i was able to hit 5100+ effective no problem on a 5800x but now im stuck with increasing bclk if i want higher than 5050
