I think ErP may stop wake from mouse which I find useful as I hibernate the PC rather than shutdown. The Set Address error doent happen from hibernate and IIRC nor does the PCM fan stop on Windows load issue either.

My work-around for the BT module (B550i m/b) was a cheap BT USB dongle but since disabling and not using the Intel device Ive not seen it disappear recently.

For Ethernet I'm continuing with the default 10.39.212.2020 driver and some device manager settings disabled and Ive had a couple of dropped connections over a few weeks which were fixed by disable/enable.

For USB since trying out various ports and avoiding using both front or both 3,2 or all four rear, and using the red port for the Xbox wireless, Ive been OK with USB too. I have every Power Management 'allow turn off'' setting I can find un-ticked in device manager.

Gigabyte app center is showing an update for SIV. if you're using it for fan control then remember to save the current profile as the update causes a fan calibration. Also the updater will try to install anything on the 'not installed' page including other utils and 3rd party stuff so remember to un-tick those before updating SIV.

B550 Aorus Master user here.
As no fix for the LAN issues helped, I just bought an USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter with Asix Chipset from Amazon. Works flawlessly.

As for the Bluetooth issue - it's disappearing for me occasionally as well. However, I found a reliable solution: Enable ErP.
This will turn off energy supply to most subsystems and "simulates" the workaround of plugging the power cord, without the hazzle.

I think you've might need a new bios with updated cpu microcode... only stasio can confirm I guess!

My data transfer speed to my Diskstation is at about 114 MB/sec constantly.
I would recommend one that has an aluminum casing as it can get pretty warm.

Yes there are. They don't operate at 2.5Gbit properly. You need to update the drivers if you don't want to be stuck at 1Gbit.

You don't need 2.5Gb. Guys the internet coming into most people's houses is 60Mbps and under. The high throughput on these are partly marketing (oooh my internet will be faster), part has potential to be utilized to that extent in a home or business network through LAN transfers of large files, if that's something critical to you (like transferring many gigs all the time between your home file server and PC all day long or frequently enough to care about such speeds)

The unreliability also highly depends on your workload.
For example, the Realtek NIC is stable with downloads, online gaming etc. but drops connections regularly when using ?TP or on Local Network Transfers (e.g. while watching movies).
There is also the reported issue of ARP Flooding.

it is not YET supported the new generation without a Bios update to the cpu microcode because they are not yet "officialy" launched if I'm not mistaken :D
so we do need to holdon tight until a new bios is out unfortunately ;(

You are right...I can only think off if it would be worth the shot that you could again upgrade Bios from USB? without the cpu or try reset to defaults?
