I'm not sure, but this is what I gather from being here and seeing replies. Aside from Stasio it is all regular members, and Stasio ignored my inquiries about his involvement extent with GB in the past. Also if someone keeps pressing about an issue, all we are told is to make a support ticket with GB, i.e no one saying "report received and we forward to engineers, they are working on this and is a known issue", etc, nothing of the sort.

with my first aorus pro i had so many problems. today i know that the issues were caused by the first OFFICIAL released bios like f10
i started with f10 and f11k from th Gb website.
at the begin of ryzen 5000 i nearly daily open an new ticket. i ordered my ryzen on release day
the answers from the Gb support came verly quickly, but the was always "small talk" anwsers. no one helps, or no thank for some selfmade clues.
a typical reply vom GB support was. "you want to use use your ram modules outside of the specification and this wouldn't be supported."

after rma and also problem with the new mainboard. i get the tip with this thread.
stasio released f11n. and the major problems were solved. since then my system would be better and better with new bios version.

f13a was the first big step backwards by performance and stability.

I was going to try f13a this afternoon but now that you say it's worse, I probably won't. I think I will roll back to F11 that was 100% stable for me, or stay with F12 until final F13 is released, since I only use the computer a few hours a day with nothing critical on it.

F10g on my Z390 Ultra was causing me to get black screens upon waking up my monitor from sleep. Rolling back to F9 got rid of the problem. 4k144hz monitor connected to 3080 Founders Edition via DisplayPort. The issue did not occur on a 1440p monitor and does not occur when GPU is connected via HDMI. The monitor is HDMI 2.0 so I can only do 60hz. Would F10h address this DisplayPort issue?

Still having cold boot issues on my X570 Aorus Master and 5800X - doesn't seem to matter the BIOS (tried F30 through F32A). Works great once it's up and running. I have a replacement Master board coming from Amazon later this week, will see if its just my board or if it will react the same.

Unfortunately, the second board works the exact same way. Suspicion now pointing at the chip itself (good luck replacing that for me), AGESA just not being up to the task yet for some reason (likely), or maybe the power supply since its cold boot issue. I'll also run a full overnight test of my memory again. Full spec in case someone has some ideas to suggest:

The exact same this has been happening for me on F11 / F12 (Both stable) but only while gaming. On normal usage or stress scenarios such as rendering & editing videos it stays highly stable, not even a single crash! but when I game for 30mins or + or gaming and recording it goes back screen. Fans / RGB stuff keyboard and mouse are still lit! BTW I have a 3070 RTC gigabyte OC

Mate, try what I said, I am not joking. Use a hair dryer to blow a little warm air in to the back of your PSU before turning it on. 100% that is my issue and sending in for RMA. I have the HXi1200.

stasio just to inform that F13a seems solid for a BETA bios. Infinity Fabric is stable at 2000Mhz with some adjustments, will do a guide tomorrow on that, out of box was spitting WHEA errors, with some value adjustments I'm running VSOC at 1.1 fully stable now with IF 2000 and 4x8GB DIMMs at 4000 CL16.

Basically the same PSU then minus the "i" (USB Link) portion, so probably same actual guts. I'll definitely give this a try tomorrow morning and see if it helps.

I've been running the B550I AORUS PRO AX for the last couple of months now paired with a 5800X across a slew of different BIOS revisions (both beta and stable) and figured I'd share some of the workarounds for issues I've come up with for this particularly unruly board.

Firstly, a workaround for the pervasive Bluetooth problem: Sometimes after a clean boot on-board Bluetooth won't start up correctly and can't be manually started from Windows either. Unfortunately, the best solution that I've found for this issue at the moment is to shut down the system, power off at the wall, then press the power button of your PC once (discharge caps, etc) wait a few seconds, then flick it back on at the wall and power up again. Bluetooth should now be present and functional again.. It blows my mind that this issue is present in a product that made it through QA testing and it still seems to proc across every BIOS revision I've tested thus far, so it may be the only workaround we get for a while unfortunately.

Second up, solving BSoDs immediately after booting: This one initially had me scratching my head for a bit the first time it occurred, but I've had it happen again once more since then and I've seen other people reporting the issue in this thread so I think it's fair to categorise it as a problem. The issue seemingly stems from an arbitrary and unsolicited partial (or complete?) reset of your system BIOS settings, thus reverting selection of a RAM XMP profile. In both instances, I found that my RAM was still targeting 3600MHz, but without the XMP profile selected the timings were all out and so as you'd expect, the system was completely unstable. All you've got to do to solve it is boot into setup (hit your delete key on boot), enter Advanced Mode, then under the 'Tweaker' tab, Set 'Extreme Memory Profile(X.M.P.) to Profile 1 (or whichever is relevant for your particular memory/ mem overclock config) then save and exit. I'd love to know why this has reset on multiple occasions. Again, this seems like the kind of problem that really shouldn't make it past QA testing, but here we are..

Third, On-board sound not working: So for some reason, the standard headphone output 3.5mm jack on the motherboard is non-functional for me. Really odd, but I had a look around and found a couple of other people posting about the same problem on Reddit. Sure enough, plugging a set of headphones into the line-out instead and specifying the output as front-speakers in the Reaktek audio console seems to work well enough for getting around this issue for now.

Finally, Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Ethernet dropping out: So this one was the biggest pain in the ass for me as I take advantage of in-home game streaming technology to play games on the anaemic HTPC in my living room over the network playing from my gaming PC in the office. Problem is, stressing the ethernet hardware onboard the B550I Pro AX at all seems to randomly cause it to conk out completely.. There's a couple of things in play here.. Firstly, some people have reported that the latest driver released by Realtek for this component has resolved the issue for them, though this doesn't seem to be the case universally as many people are still reporting issues with the new driver. Personally I'm on driver version 10.45.928.2020 dated 28/09/2020 and I was able to keep it running 100% stable by disabling Energy-Efficient Ethernet, setting EEE Max Support Speed to 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex, disabling Advanced EEE, setting Speed & Duplex to 1.0Gbps Full Duplex (yeah, it's kind of in there twice, idfk) and setting Jumbo Frame to Disabled. I'm not certain that all of these changes are necessary as I kind of winged it a bit on this one, but I can tell you that I haven't had any network dropouts in the month since making these changes with constant daily use and heavy network load so I'm reasonably confident that it's resolved the issue for me at least and hopefully works for others too.

That about wraps it up for my sordid experience with this board thus far. Hopefully some of this info is helpful to some of you here as well and with any luck, maybe Gigabyte can do something about providing us with some slightly less hacky solutions in the not-too-distant future.

It saves your settings and you can just reload it (it is wiped when you upgrade/downgrade BIOS, but if you stay on same BIOS and save profile, you just then need to go to the BIOS and load your saved profile and all your settings will repopulate)

Neovalen I saw a similar issue with my 5800x on a x570 master. System would not cold boot on the 40 bios code, only with the AA code on restart. Issue was resolved by disabling hibernate in Windows. Possibly something wrong with that power state?

I have been trying to use this but sometimes it will switch over to the secondary BIOS for the boot and I need to create it again there. You are correct that once both sides are configured I can do this... still something I shouldn't have to do but thanks for attempting to help. Since we've been getting new beta BIOS and I've been trying them all it gets cleared fairly often.

I checked my serial number, the lot is 2036 and according to the web site only 2030 and 2041 are supposed to be affected... so likely not the same issue if there is one. Thank you for bringing that to attention though.
