With my X570 Aorus Elite and 5950x, so far I'm still getting the best results with the F31l, no whea or instability issues with PBO enabled (haven't tried earlier BIOS versions). As soon as I switch to a newer BIOS, performance drops by around 5% in my case.

PS: Can anybody send me a link for the AGESA 1.2.0.0 bios? Would love to try that out. Thanks a lot!

the path is correct but, then only this enables, disables, auto.



The ZEN+ (Ryzen 2000), has PBO, with the options I mentioned, only Gigabyte locks them.
Asus, MSI and ASRock do not.
PBO2 still has the curve optimizer.

ZEN+ 2000 series CPUs had PB2 + XFR2.
PBO is Precision Boost Overdrive and was introduced with ZEN2 3000 series CPUs, along with AutoOC.

Hey guys,

I have severe problems with my build and the current available BIOS'es. Tried F10 to F11 and the beta BIOS Versions in between. My PC is crashing infrequently sometimes while gaming and sometimes even at idle. I see Bluescreens with WHEA 18 errors. Does anyone know a solution?

Things tried without success:
- Disabling XML --> running RAM at default clock 2133 MHz
- Disabling PBO
- Enabling Eco Mode
- Limit TDP of CPU

My current build:
- B550 Aorus Master
- Ryzen 5900
- 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit
- nVidia 3090 FE

I have same memory setup as you - also have the same instability issues. Unfortunately i haven't find a way to make it stable.

Have you tried manually input timings on the Ram without enabling your XMP profile?

If you find anything worth a shot let me know.

I don't know why I can't upload images from either attachments or URL but this beta version BIOS (F12a Agesa 1.2.0.0) is the best BIOS I have had with my 5600x and B550I Aorus Pro so far. Here are some stats:

Hi bro, Where is resizable BAR option in this bios? I can't find this , only 4g decoding and some "bits" :(

I have literally dug through the whole new BIOS and even after disabling CSM support and enabling above 4G decoding
the resizable BAR option is nowhere to be found nor working in Windows --- still no "large memory range" in the device manager for my 6900XT....

Could you maybe check internally if the resizable BAR was really added to the F4N for TRX40 Aorus Extreme? Many thanks and all the best!

first thing i noticed with new agesa bios.
when i pinged google or opened ANY website, the inital connection delay used to be 10 sec, every time.
now its instant again.
ping itself wasnt affected only how long it takes for the NIC to establish the connection.

Also cinebench r20 went up from 9600 to 9800 with my -0,204V offset 120W PPT

Running F32a with AGESA 1.2.0.0... Cyberpunk 2077 is now crashing at times -- never had that before. Rolling back to F31 to see if the crashes go away.

Greetings. I tried to update to this new bios. But faced no success. Right after i boot into windows I see weird system behavior. Programms wont load, explorer does not responding. Then I realized that nvme drive in bottom slot just not responding. You can see it in the bios, but in windows it makes the whole system freeze.

My specs: 5900x + B550 Aorus Pro AC

I reverted back to F11.

QFT. For people mixing up PBO and PB2. Only the Ryzen 5XXX series CPUs support PBO2 (with curve optimizer) right now. This is directly from AMD.
