Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Hi,
I encounter a glitch with my r9 3900X + x570 aorus pro (bios F12e). This result in a COMPLETE freeze of the system for a short time (display, sound, mouse etc...).
With DPC Lat it is possible to see this behavior: my computer stutters for pricesely 500ms (+/- 1 ms) every 1m ~ 30s. This is really annoying as it is making the computer quite unusable....
There is nothing on windows events, i don't know where to search.
I tried with XMP disabled, PBO disabled, without any usb devices etc...
Example:
Thanks!

Usually it happens when i'm in intensive gaming moments.
SOC LLC seems to help a little, but i don't know if is a random thing.
If i use the Stock base settings (2133mhz, all stock), there is no problem.
Any suggestions? (i tried f11 and f12e bios)
The ram are G.SKILL F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC (2x16GB Hynix DJR 3600mhz)
I entered manually timings into Ryzen master (entering from bios seems unstable) from "THAIPHOON BURNER" (Only the main ones that i found there, the rest on auto, 1.35v), seems stable for now, i'm going to post update so if there is someone with the same problem with Gigabyte Aorus X570-I Pro Wifi, can find help here.
Seems to me that DRAM Calculator has the timings too tight, putting the "xmp stock" that i found in thaipoon burner helped me.
Soc voltage 1.1, VDDP 0.9, VDDG 1.05.
Bios F12e
EDIT. Still getting reboots in gaming situations, any suggestion?Last edited by guez; 03-27-2020, 05:49 PM.

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Hi.
Does anyone have the GA-Z97X-Gaming GT - F8b bios? In the download section only F8a is listed but the F8b exists I had it but I f@cked it up and replaced it with F8a and now the NVME speed is low. Thanks.

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Hi Guys. I have a X570 Aorus Elite, and Gigabyte already post the F12f Bios on their site to Download.
Its still considered a Beta Bios or as its listed in their global website, its considered stable (despite the "f" letter with the version).

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Hello guys, I have an odd request, I have an old m/b, the GA-EP45T-DS3 (not R) with this modded bios (https://ideafix.name/stuff/gigabyte/GA-EP45T-DS3.zip), the F3, for xeon microcode. I run a x5470.
Is there anyway someone can mod it with the newer AHCI bios so it can eliminate the slow AHCI boot?? THanks in advance.
