ok thankyou I'm using f6c and seems to be working ok,could you tell me the difference from f6c to f6d and is it worth changing? (sorry I'm new to all this bios stuff)
I have a GA-X58A-UD3R and I'm not able to boot from any pendrive inserted on the USB3.0 connector.
I've also have an extra USB3.0 controller, but I can't choose to boot from it.
Is it possible to modify the BIOS to be able to boot from them?
Hi, I have a z170-hd3p. I see that there's an update for BIOS F6d available, but there is no Changelog at all. I currently have an issue with my gigabyte support (id # 300542) but have not gotten an answer yet. My issue is that the BIOS PCIe capabilities are reported incorrectly by the BIOS to the kernel, so I cannot use IOMMU groups for proper device isolation (this is for having a virtual machine with near-native performance). I wonder, can we get some information about the changes and if the BIOS might help at all? Thanks!
[email protected], выше не стал, не хочу сильнее поднимать напряжение
Yes, it helped
Do not want even to try?
Actually, i have issues on 4,5 ghz on 6400, cant boot normally when raise bclk over 150. On 150 and 4,0 everything is ok.
Can you try it, if there is same problem?
If so, then i can say its all gigabyte problem. I have z170-d3h, our boards have similar VRM.
Actually, you have 6500, maybe its not the same as my 6400 with 167 bclk needed
