Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Hi guys,
I've been using Acebmxer's modded BIOS F2i for EP45T-USB3P for almost 2 years and was very happy with it. Unfortunately after having installed Windows 8.1 on my RAID 0, wake up from hibernation took VERY long (+ 1 Minute). I've been testing with different Intel RST drivers and finally tried another BIOS with Intel RAID ROM 12.7.0.1936 from here:
GA-EP45T-USB3P rev1.0 for 3TB drives
Surprisingly it completely solved the hibernation issue (()) but now I'm facing two other problems:
1. No DRAM clocks > 1333 MHz and no bit of overclocking possible - this is definitely related to the F2 final BIOS instead of F2i I've been using before. I remember the same struggles two years ago with the F2 BIOS...
2. JMicron SATA/IDE BIOS doesn't show up (neither in AHCI or RAID mode)
3. No post at all with AVM ISDN card inserted - the board has been running into the famous reboot loop
Can you do me a favor and try to integrate the new Intel RAID ROM above into the working version of the BIOS which can be found here:
Of course I'd of also appreciate new JMicron and Realtek ROMs but that's quite unimportant compared to having a stable and usable BIOS again :)
Many thanks to you modders!!!
Bernhard
UPDATE 1: In the meantime I've read that Intel ROMs eventually need modification itsself to fit either P67&P55/X79 or ICH10R. Does someone know why this is neccessary? At least, the above version 12.7.0.1936 worked with the old ICH10R (Device ID 2822 without alternative Device ID). If you need another proper ROM version for the mod, can you try also with this one:
>Especially modified Intel RST(e) RAID ROM v11.6.0.1702 with TRIM in RAID0 for ICH10R systems<
from here:
UPDATE 2: The solution is one post below :)
