Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
I can say it was not me who did the mod. I could have done the mod or will do the mod for anyone who ask. There is a sticky on this forum for Modified Gigabyte bios's. The only problem I have with the article is he did not mention which 11.5 raid rom was used in the mod, I do believe they used the latest 11.5.1582 rom. You will also have to use windows 8 to have trim.
If anyone needs a bios updated with the latest Oroms please post a request here http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...fied-bios.htmlMain Rig

The 64-bit Intel ME firmware version checker "MEInfoWin64.exe" is included with the ME firmware update package at station-drivers.com:
intel drivers pour chipsets
Note: right-click "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt window.
Then type in "MEInfoWin64.exe" (without quotes) at the command line.
There's also other versions if using a 32-bit operating system.
Side note: the UD5H F12 bios has also resolved the non-boot problem when the secondary Atheros ethernet controller is disabled in bios setup. (I Will test this 2morow for me F12 seems ok i think i need to downclock to 4.8GHz & test sleep again. @ 5GHz it works sometimes not allways)Last edited by irfs; 08-18-2012, 08:25 PM.Corsair Carbide 400R
