Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Just asking, I was trying to build up a PC to donate with some hardware I have stopped here. I had won an H67M-D2 (b2) and was wondering to give it with a locked (x28) Ivybridge i7 sample that I have here. But since it is B2, it doesn't have latest updates to make it compatible with 22nm CPUs. Is There any modified BIOS to flash B3 BIOS on it? I didn't want to donate an old AMD pc, I think that this system would last longer and be more useful to them.
As I sad I'm just asking to be sure. Thanks in advance

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Z77X UD5H F9a BIOS seems as good as F6l, no problem so far. This BIOS has one drawback, it didn't contains intel's latest CPU microcode dated 2012-04-12. Edit again: F9a BSOD too, all BIOS other than F6l is junkies.Last edited by s4e8; 06-10-2012, 09:34 AM.

here is H67M-D2- B3 BIOS F7 for your B2 board:
B2=h67m-d2-b3_f7.zip
Use latest @BIOS:
http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList...ity_atbios.exe
Flash with "Load Optimized Defaults" and tick clear CMOS in @BIOS.
After,you can flash any B3 BIOS with QFlash.
upgrade also Backup BIOS (ALT+F12).
Your Ivy still will be locked,till new AMI BIOS released.Last edited by stasio; 06-10-2012, 11:47 AM.
