      Could anyone shed anylight on when a bios update is coming for my sniper 2, its a premium board and still waiting for a ivy bridge multi bios update :(

          Ah I see my mistake now!, thanks! I never specified the file name, just /? to view any param's but since it just started eraring, writing, verifying, I presumed it was just doing it's stuff. As usual, presupmtion is the mother of f.up's. ;)

          - I5-2500k [3148C059], cooled by scythe mugen2 rev.b with 1500rpm pwm-fan on cpufan header.
          - 8G(2x4G) Corsair Vengeance LP CML8GX3M2A1600C9W,Low profile/Low voltage, DDR1600/C9-1.35v. Slots 1&2.
          - 16G(4x4G) Samsung M378B5273DH0-CH9 1333 @ 2133-c11. w1.55v
          - Seasonic M12D SS850-EM , 850W Semi-Modular PSU with 80A at 12V.

              Okay, so I flashed specifying the filename and it worked, this time the erase, write, verify cycle repeated twice and got a different finishing message too/

              so eufi is sortof working now...

              I see why this is alpha too, some stuff is not working, but it's looking okay.
              on my sandy can't seem to find any vcore setting, and setting all turbo's to 45x also did not work.
              I did see a lot more options in many sections, so possibly I overlooked something.

              all in all it's good for alpha, I guess.

                I am back (after dinner).

                This is the first BIOS (w/o major hick-up as another boards providers already on AMI BIOS),so don't expect to be perfect.

                Hours and hours has been spend in Taiwan,to accomodate Award BIOS to AMI BIOS.

                  That's what I meant by good alpha ;)... I never expected perfection, just wanted to report my findings, for good purpose.

                      Dear Stasio: I'm wondering if all the z68-mb will get a EUFI bios as a fix of IVY multiplier issue?
                      I've been in contact with Gigabyte Taiwan several times but they gave very little and [formal] replies which answered nothing of my doubts.
                      It's really inspiring to know that some got fixed. But still, will all be fixed or some cheaper ones will be ignored like my [z68ma-d2h b3]?

                        So it's sort of working with SB chips and EUFI is available?
                        I'm not planning on putting an IB on my Z68XP-UD3 but a nicer looking BIOS would be killer.

                              As this Z68 AMI BIOS are still in testing stage,shift from Award to AMI brand (many of us put effort on this) is very complicated.

                              So far, no major issue (as bricking BIOS chips...Asus,etc....) has been reported.

                                yep seems okay, now just needs doing some minor issues I feel. like missing vcore/llc adjustment.

                                somehow it does feel a bit different, esp. the mem section.
