Thanks for the update Stasio!!
Those who use S3 will rejoice
S3 Fixed at 4Ghz for the UD4P
(21x190 W/ 6GB 777-20 @ 1520Mhz)
I think maybe translation issues though with the change log, just so you know. That should be Auto, Quick, and Expert for the Dram Timing Selectable Choices
And I do like the idea of that, but I also notice if you use the "Quick" setting the "Round Trip Latency" settings all match, which can cause issues at Many speeds I believe. I am not sure if it would work at ANY Speed with all three of them matching actually. I have not tested this yet, but you may want to pass that along to whomever you speak to in the BIOS Engineer Department.
Well, thanks for the update I am off to test out how the QPI/Cold Boot False start issues are with this BIOS.
*EDIT*
False start/triple boot still present. Guess you can't have it all
Hope they add in the new AHCI BIOS/ROM soon for the UD4P

In the UD5-F6E BIOS, is the Intel AHCI BIOS the old version or the new one?
What board do you have, and what BIOS are you using? Does it do that at stock optimized defaults or just with your overclock settings?
Hi, i got Gigabyte X58 extreme,im using F4 at the moment,it does not
tripple boot at stock settings. The cpu was clocked after some boot up
problems i get error msg,the system has experienced boot up failures
cause of high voltages or overclocking and it downclocked. Now it works
@ 2.5ghz my ram also @ 1066 i cant get my clock stable im 95% sure
the clock is ok it was done by high experienced overclocker who also
got corei7 clocked working stable @ 4ghz.The system works stable
when not overclocked.
GA-EP45-UD3P - F9b - they went back to old intel ahci bios?, sticking with F9a for now
F9a is by far the best one I have used. The official F8 was horrible. It kept freezing my machine. I kept tweaking it wondering what I was doing wrong and it was the BIOS all along.
Hey Guys. Im hoping someone can help me. Currently my PC just randomly reboots, not always but in the middle of any task. Now and again it doesnt even power up I have to hit the soft switch. When this happens, I ofen get the message instantly on screen that an voltage problem may have occured and also whenever I go into the BIOS after this happened.
My spec is as follows:
EX58 DS4 - F5
i7 920 @ Stock
Corsair XMS3 @ 1600 (Profile 1) also tried standard (I get same prob)
4870x2 on Catalyst 9.2
1 DVD drive & Samsung 500GB disk
Thermaltake 101D Media Case
PSU Corsair 750TX
This has even happened when I have made a change in the bios and before I save and exit, it has rebooted. I have everything @ stock in the BIOS, although 4 Cores is enabled, Turbo is disabled. Any ideas?
Is it worth me updating to the 6b bios?
Thanks in advance.
