Originally posted by ed1 View PostI apologize if this has been answered before. What is the purpose of the MOD bioses that are posted by sirioo soon after each beta bios is posted?
There is a reference to Intel RAID v9.6.0.1014 and a Realtek PCIe controller driver. Couldn't/shouldn't these be installed separately and independently of the bios version being used?
The purpose is simply to have the latest is all, while that is not always good it generally is so Sirioo updates them for everyone

Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS
This mod updates the internal files in the BIOS for said hardware, yes there will be differences depending on the versions added but you may or may not notice.
Drivers do not matter, this is inside the BIOS.Last edited by Lsdmeasap-Test; 06-17-2010, 01:48 PM.

Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS
That should be a "May VOID" because they do post beta BIOS to the main pages sometimes, so this I do not think they worry about that too much, but modified one for sure if they notice they may not approve of.Last edited by Lsdmeasap-Test; 06-17-2010, 01:48 PM.
