GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS

It's been over two months now since Gigabyte gave us F36e on the aorus master. I was sure hoping for a finalized version by now but it looks like they're going to make us wait. Since installing the new CPU I haven't had any system stuttering at all.

It is indeed surprising that it takes so long to get a new version online. More than 2 months since the last beta F36e for the Master...
Does anyone know why the delay?

They're preparing for the next CPU-Generation. Since there arent any relevant new Microcode/Agesa-Updates from Intel or AMD, they have set the development of new bios-versions on hold. Since they got hacked, they're realy sissy with their ressources.

Same deal with the x570UD they just keep upgrading the letter next to it. Wish they would finalize things and push out next version

I hit up their e support and they claimed they don't even have a newer bios than the last they posted as of two weeks ago when I contacted them.

If anyone wants it

you cannot flash back to the mainline bios from GA
so keep your backup bios as stock so you can flash over this if you ever want to

GA Fixes NVME drives on the 1x slots when C10 is enabled as the max state (Modern Standby)
without the fix the drives fail to enumarate in windows with C10 enabled

In the case of Z690 firmware it does the same but fixes the 4x slots
the 4x slot was already fine on Z390 mainline firmware

I flashed F20a to my Z690 Aorus Elite AX earlier

There's full TVB Control now

e.g. you can set the TVB trigger temp and downbin which is huge
Setting the temp works
the downbin is bugged it ignores the Active Turbo Ratio Table
so you end up with -4 bins and such when setting -1 bin

The forced AVX offset in the last 2 bios's is bugged
Setting AVX Offset 0 doesnt work anymore (it worked fine in F8d)
Setting AVX Optimum works though and sets the AVX offset to 0

This has nothing to do with it.
Leaving a BIOS on beta for so long is bad.
Especially since Gigabyte is one of the biggest motherboard manufacturers.

Just checked for a new bios and now the latest version for b550 Aorus master is ...... F15b !!! What is happening here?

I asked if you have any issue with your bios.
Would you feel better if they remove the letter (a, b, c) and re upload the same version as is? Because that's the only indication you have that it's beta
