Hi stasio , how can we support you here ? Should we write it down somewhere if we have or don't have issues with a beta bios ? Cause I assume you dont share them just for fun :o) , it's clear that they have to be tested. Dont hesitate to post a data template for test results.

I don't understand why but I have issues with sleep.. is it a bios issue?
In Windows: would go to sleep, but randomly would come out of sleep
In various linux distros: would go to sleep for a split second and immediately come right out of sleep automatically no matter what. It won't stay in sleep mode, just immediately comes out as soon as it enters sleep.

This happens with default/"optimized" BIOS values too. And with all USB devices disconnected even.

For Linux I dont know but for Windows there are some things to look for

- In event viewer Windows Logs -> System the Power Troubleshooter (event 1) and Kernel Power events sometimes have a clue
- In advanced power settings (harder to find in W11) disable Wake Timers
- In device manager make sure only the mouse/kb have Allow Device to Wake enabled - for the LAN device this may involve turning off Wake On XXX settings

With F35d same problem.
My X570 AORUS Xtreme uses two chips: ITE IT8688E and ITE IT8792E.
Same problem is in SIV and other software (Fan Control V94).

OK, you need to try the latest finished bios that is non-beta,,,it will not have a letter on the end. Latest non-beta for my board is F34. All of the bios releases with the letter on the end--F35c/F35d are beta bios versions.

Does anybody else have issues dual booting Windows 11 with Ubuntu (all recent versions) with Secure Boot enabled? There seems to be an issue in Grub2 with identifying Secure Boot enabled. The menu gets corrupted with lines like Failed to open \EFI\UBUNTU\Chinese characters - Invalid Parameter and Grub refuses to work. This makes it practically impossible to dual-boot currently for me. Are there other people experiencing this annoying issue as well on this forum? I can't seem to fix it and it comes back with every version Canonical brings out. A while back this NEVER happened to me and I was able to dual-boot EVERYTHING just fine, but that was in the time that Secure Boot wasn't a requirement for Windows. Some think that Windows damages the EFI partition where the Ubuntu entries reside.

Despite what you'll read everywhere Secure Boot isnt actually a requirement for W11. Microsoft say the system needs to be Secure Boot capable which is met by enabling UEFI boot (disable CSM). The checker, the upgrade tool, and W11 itself arent interested in whether secure boot is enabled so if its causing issue then its worth trying it disabled.

I havent used dual boot for years as something like VirtualBox is easier, and now with W11 we have WSL and WSLg (virtualisation enabled in BIOS, Virtual Machine Platform optional feature enabled, and either WSL and WSLg as more optional features or the new WSL preview app from the store,

Hey Stasio, It seems resizable bar support is broken on x570 aorus elite. When "Above 4G Decode" and "Resizable BAR" are enabled in bios, Windows reports both as being disabled. (Verified with GPU-Z) Rolled back to F32 and it works fine again. But the bios settings pages have some really good updates so I hope it gets fixed in a final release.

Looks fine for me on f36e, did you check other requirements? you probably have CSM enabled?

CSM is weird, sometimes it randomly switches to enabled out of nowhere, you would know if csm is disabled if bios is laggy af, that csm disabled lag bug has been there since f3 bios back in july 2019, not sure if its even a bug or a feature

Very strange I couldn't get it to work even after multiple "load optimized defaults" and enabling it afterwards. Tried a bunch of things, but I couldn't get it to turn on at all. I was also on F36e. As soon as I reverted to F32 it worked instantly however. And all the other requirements listed "Yes" except for Above 4G Decode, and Resizable bar, despite showing up in the bios as enabled and auto, as it should be. (UEFI/Secure boot was also enabled) So I should have met all the requirements.

Then again, my motherboard seems to have issues resuming from sleep so I think it may be time for an RMA. Which also couldn't be solved by either BIOS updates or resetting to defaults. It always seems to resume with 100% fans spinning and not actually turning on after going into sleep mode. Maybe it's somehow related...

F14e for B550 AORUS PRO still has problems with VDDG Voltage settings. Cannot get past 1.0V which is needed for stable FCLK 2000MHz and USB at this speed.

First, turn secure boot off and see if that fixes it. If not, run msconfig and check that under the boot tab Windows is the default OS--I dimly remember that Windows is funny like that--it likes to run the bootmanager and then hand off to the secondary OS.

Purpose of secureboot is that it prevents nasties like root kits from loading underneath the OS, out of sight of the AV software installed in your OS. That's the reason it was developed, IIRC.

just toggle it disabled in bios on both 4G and ReBAR and then save reboot and reenable on next boot and it will work ive had to do this last few updates on my X570 aorus elite

Quick update; re-flashed with f36e now and it works fine now it seems... ??????? very weird. Maybe somehow got corrupted? No clue...

What ive always done coz of my ocd is I remove the cmos battery (or use screwdriver way) for 15 seconds before AND after updating my bios lol, and i ONLY use the q-flash way, its probably not needed lol but ive NEVER had any weird issues with my mobo after a bios update, never had problems with my custom memory timings or overclock, and I update like every other release since F3.

stasio I have always had problems with enabling XMP in my B550 PRO AC. it have to set it like "N" times on off, on off, on off the feature to make it worked. I never complained because it worked when it was enabled.

if i enable XMP only it works(Profile 1: 3200. Default 2133), the if i go and change anyother options like virtualisation or anything else after choosing save & exit it resets itself multiple times and switches back to 2133 but the voltage remains 1.35V...

i mean WTH this has been going on since F12 and this time i cannot enable it at all.

please kindly address this issue!
