Yes, it is...Hope you get it solved!

Well a couple of actions I’ve taken are a) got authorized RMA to return the cpu to AMD. B) ordered another 5700g from NewEgg, plus some 4x8 memory (32 gb) g.skill royal to see if either new cpu or memory is issue. Then I’ll sell any extra parts on ebay. I’ll report back here my results. I don’t give up easily.

It just seems to be updates to the website that arent happening - an OTA for App Center happened so they're still working. But their prio will be new products coming soon more than keeping a few forum posters happy - in any case no-one knows what the new AGESA does or why they need it.

The B550i was well priced and no probs VRM wise - it's just the onboard devices that had issues like BT and LAN. Zen 3 has also been pretty good apart from USB but aren't that cheap considering no iGPU.

But next time I'll prob go back to Intel/Asus - their m/b arent cheap but with current GPU prices that's not such a big factor.

I would bet that they are being forced to do due diligence and prove that none of the BIOS repositories were compromised. ( They shouldn't have been , but then again , if their security had been perfect this wouldn't have happened in the first place , and nobody can be perfect 24/7 ). Because the only thing that would make this worse would be if they pushed out an updated BIOS , just to find out 2 days later that it had been compromised and that now your machine was part of a bot net.

With new Agesa will be released after validation, if is worth to release.
If you read arround, new Agesa is messing up the fclk/vddgp in the asus and msi boards.
They always releasing untested versions, just to be first and contrary to AMD recommendation.
I didn't post changelog, as is stated on GB web page (I think X570 and B550 same).
