While we patiently wait for Gigabyte to recover... I just noticed an issue with F35 BIOS for X570 Aorus Elite Wifi. HWiNFO64 indicates Power Reporting Deviation of ~89% - this does not happen with F34 which reports ~97%. I only noticed it now because I usually turn PBO on immediately, and was just assuming that I was seeing an invalid result. So prior to F35, core current usage was being reported more or less accurately, and in F35 accuracy decreased.

GB won't even try to remedy this. READ the article you linked to:

I can only think of one bit of advice here as I have an x570 Aorus Master (F34) with absolutely no USB issues of any kind. I also run a PCIex4 GPU and PCIe4 NVMe boot drive. If you are using a USB sound device, stop using it ASAP. I never use 'em as years ago I had nothing but problems with them--things like speech tracks being behind the mouth movement of NPCs in games, etc. If you do not have decent motherboard sound support then get yourself a decent PCIe sound card.

Also, if you want help for a problem, detail what sort of problems you are having, otherwise no one knows where to start in terms of advice.

Alright, i'll write the same stuff i've sent to AMD and their bug report tool (as they've suggested me to do).
Basically during some intensive data movement (like 500gb from a drive to another, or just 50gb to a usb drive up front) , random usb dropouts will happen !
A bluetooth adapter i have will disconnect, and never come back unless i restart my pc, also usb wifi adapter will briefly disconnect signal (not usb) and come back, just to loose it again a few minutes later...
This happens with random severity , but always when moving files from drive to drive (i have tested all of my drives, they're fine).
Once, i had to transfer 1TB of data to a NAS, my keyboard just died and came back a minute later, that's the issue.

I have reset my BIOS to stock settings (plus XMP on ram, but disabling it doesn't fix anything), i've also tried ECO mode or i've tried to unplug both my NVME drives, simply nothing will help me.

For the moment , i have moved files from this gaming pc i use everyday, to a little FX 8350 mule pc i have and i'm doing transfer there, so i can game with very little issues but still, i'd like to fix these problems...

I have latest F13 bios and latest AMD chipset (released this month) , if AMD comes up with something i will update you all!

EDIT : I was using some USB headphones, but i have switched the cable to jack into my old Xonar DX card (was gathering dust really) and sound hitching has gone away (my headphones have a jack connection Sennheiser).

I had a similar issue with the first X570 Master 1.0 I had... Only difference was that the data I was transferring was corrupted every time between drivers OS and secondary and vice versa... Maybe use something like fastcopy or similar to confirm that the data your moving around is moved correctly and not corrupted.

I had the same issue with keyboard/usb devices just dying and not coming back until i restarted the computer, obviously just got a lemon at the time.

In the end I replaced the motherboard/RMA'd it because it was a faulty board, I have two x570 Masters 1.2 out of the situation now (alot to spend on them but the other USB issues were sorted via BIOS) and I have no data corruption issues anymore.

I do have to dial in some manual settings to get the PBO to be stable, I cant just turn it on and leave things as default otherwise I get random restarts.

Otherwise all good since F34, I understand the B550 was released after so its possible that there are some bios revisions to go till your stable but with the amount of issues your having id imagine that the board just needs to be replace/switched.... if you can do this via retailer and not gigabyte right now it will be quicker.

I don't have data corruption on my transfer, but yes it might very well be a faulty board, maybe the sata ports or the chipset area who knows..
My retailer is a private shop, it's basically going to cost me a lot to send it back and they might just test it for a second and be like "its working dude, pay again shipping to get it back " , at the end of the day it's going to cost as much as a new board lol .
In the meantime i'll wait for amazon's black friday deals to get a new one, i will also apply any new bios update and report back here for any improvement of the case.

The only thing I can suggest is that it appears your bluetooth & WiFi wireless are possibly suffering some form of interference in your location. I never use either, am strictly a wired guy--wired is faster, more reliable, and more secure--that's my opinion, anyway. As a matter of practice, I disable bluetooth and wifi in my bios via the device manager and keep them disabled (my home network is wired Ethernet.) I would suggest that if possible you go wired with everything--also, going Sata 3 or NVMe or both for all of your drives I recommend (I even do my Macrium Reflect C:\ backups to a dedicated Sata3 partition on an internal hard drive.) My USB keyboard/mouse never drop out, and I use the 2.0 ports on the back, leaving a thumb drive on the USB bios port in the back for bios updates, etc. USB runs off the CPU, remember and is 100% CPU-dependent last I checked.

Since you state that you use a private shop, I'm wondering if he sold you a used motherboard on "special" without the benefit of exchange or return...;) Otherwise, where you buy it from should have no bearing on your being able to RMA the mboard to AMD. Assuming you are not the only customer of the private shop, he should have no trouble simply exchanging it with no additional charge to you--assuming these events are relatively close to the date of your purchase, anyway. It happened to me years ago--I've never forgotten it. I was pretty angry and when I returned to hash it out with the guy, he was gone! Disappeared like Houdini! Learned a valuable lesson that day.

This is just speculation, of course. It could be something as simple as your external USB drive being fairly old and slightly incompatible with the USB port you are using, etc.

Hope you can work it out! It seems like something simple to me that might be easily addressed with a change in your hardware strategies.

Guys do you know any setting that I can tweak in the motherboard to prevent cold boot issues when having high FCLK. The system trains well but fails to start from cold boot. On many forums they suggest to increase the PLL voltage or enable ln2 mode but when enabling ln2 mode the system won't post at all. Cannot find the PLL voltage settings in B550 Aorus Pro. Any help would be appreciated.
