Back in the day with binned CPUs you could buy a cheaper tier and clock it to match the top one - but these days extra money buys you cores and given the CPU load in-game is moderate the CPU impact and RAM timings impact if youve already set XMP arent worth the effort and stability risk - only the GPU choice and game settings make a real difference. Reducing power and noise is more valuable these days so undervolting is where effort does makes sense. Deltas of a few percent look even less useful as we're back to 20% + improvements in CPU generations.

Gigabyte b550 pro ax
??????On the latest bio f13 for 2 weeks now
Still get whea incorrectable error
Whea error only happens on when power option is on either high performance or balance
When I have power on saving mode the pc seem stable.
Which hardware is at fault?

Ive not seen WHEA with F12 or F13. Ive had XMP from the start but no overclocking (not so useful on modern CPUs and GPUs) and no CPU undervolting or other tweaks. I did have ECO mode enabled with F12 to cap multi-core power on the 5800x but so far F13 seems better behaved with light Windows use and I've not yet re-enabled ECO. The BIOS boot time also seems reduced with F13.

Did someone observe similar behaviour?
'Seeing a massive performance drop in Passmark Performance Test since I installed the F33 and later the F34 bios on my 3900x/X570 Master Rev 1.0. With the older F31 my Passmark 3900X Score was:Processor: 34507 Single Thread: 2872 but with the F33 it dropped to 33261/2849 and then with the latest F34 bios it is now Processor 34099 and the Single Thread remains at 2849. Bottom line: The AMD AGESA ComboV2 1.1.0.0 D in bios F31 kept my 3900X running like a rocket but the F33/AMD AGESA ComboV2 1.2.0.2 and F34/AMD AGESA ComboV2 1.2.0.3B have really improved Boot times and Fan Speed curves but my 3900X performance took a hit.'
