Thanks for the reply, I do not have any boot ultra fast options enabled. I had the logo disabled and the old school screen where when you do press the Delete key it will say it's Entering bios...
And I did try that option through windows 10 and unfortunately it did not work.
With fast boot off you should see either BIOS text or Logo and be able to enter BIOS with a keyboard (not a BT keyboard).
I always use the GB fastboot app - does this change boot settings or not?
If the GB fastboot app or Windows advanced does not reboot into BIOS then this suggests to me that the mechanism the fastboot app and Windows Advanced Startup use to communicate with the BIOS is broken.
When Windows misbehaves then I resort to using the Media Creation tool to do an in-place "upgrade" keeping apps and documents - it basically refreshes the Windows install without the hassle of a clean install.

What works is Resize Bar is enabled in windows, according to Precision X1. That gives me the issue of not being able to get into the bios. The bios settings are Above 4G Encoding Enabled, Resize BAR support Enabled , and CSM disabled. Once I save that I cannot get back into the bios anymore.
What I've tried. I've tried everything except the Gigabyte app to get into the bios. I figured the other method of going to Settings/ Update & Security/ Recovery Restart Now and choosing troubleshoot to get into the UEFI Firmware Settings, would work but that blows past everything and boots me back into windows.
The only thing I can do to reach the bios is just clear the CMOS/BIOS and then upload the bios without the Resize BAR settings enabled, that I saved on a USB drive.
EDIT: for anyone recently following this, Rev 1.0 X570 Xtreme, bios F33

Latest is posted a week ago....
Warning Some of beta BIOSes are still undergoing compatibility testing. GIGABYTE is sharing these BIOSes for testing purposes only and are not meant for general release. If you are not familiar with beta BIOS testing, then please only flash the recommended release BIOSes that are posted on the GIGABYTE website, as only release

The windows install is from the previous 3k series AMD chip when they first came out. And I think I had CSM compatibility enabled when I did the initial install. GPT formatted, though.

OK - there are two completely separate things
a) What you see on the display on startup
b) Can you get into BIOS using the GB fastboot app
For a) its not uncommon to see nothing until the WIndows logo and even until Windows start - this can be Fast boot, CSM or just HDMI or DP handshake
If b) is not working then that suggests to me a Windows issue
You are searching for a BIOS answer but if you cant reboot into BIOS then you have to look for a Windows answerLast edited by jwsg; 07-10-2021, 07:24 AM.

The apps are lightweight (Appcenter 13,6 MB, Fastboot 10,8 MB) and do not need to be running permanently. So for me they are a better and faster alternative that I just run only when I want to go to UEFI (I use Ultrafastboot)

Same problem AX200 wifi card not being recognized at start-up, however there is one step better then unplugging an plugging the card with motherboard powered. Just put your pc in sleep mode and wake it up right after. It will pick up the card, still annoying but better then risking frying your board.

Hi, a couple of minutes ago I opened my laptop (waking it up from hibernation) only to find that the wifi wasn't working anymore. The device manager just said "device not started (error 10)" (or error 0xA).
Found a reddit thread which is archived, though. Also you can't post stuff like that anymore in that subreddit. So I'm making a new one here just so other people who happen to run into the same issue may find a possible solution for the issue too.
I googled "intel wifi 6 ax200 not started error 10 0xA" and reddit was the first hit. That's why I want to put the solution here too.
Aaanyway. After reinstalling the device, restarting and all that didn't work I just tried something on a hunch. In the advanced device properties you can change the option for "MIMO Power Save Mode". Default is "Auto SMPS". I just changed it to "No SMPS" and device started working again.
Just putting this out here in the hopes that it may help somebody some day.The suggestions in the original reddit thread like disconnecting the power wasn't applicable since it's a laptop. Also I was really hoping that it wouldn't be a loose cable.

But entering with keyboard is always difficult so I suggest you next try the GB fastboot tool and find out if this works
If the GB fastboot tool does not get you into BIOS then that is a valid reason to raise a ticket with GB

Is that normal? I'd have to re-set the bios and reload my bios profile to get back into the bios without Resize BAR
EDIT: sorry, X570, Xtreme Rev 1.0, F33
