        Ok will try that

        another Q;

        I only put in 1 stick of ram.. there were no drivers?????

        If i put the other stick in im good to go or do i need to update anything for that?

        Also when i put those settings u showed me into bios how will i know if its running smoothe at 3.6 or w/e

        like will there be an obvious boost in speed? How do i know its not blowing up my computer ha :p

          Re: Just installed all hardware. Trying to load windows

          Ahh see. You should have posted all this in that one thread you made. Now I remember telling you to use one stick first.

          Now that you have windows installed you can stick in the other stick and reboot and see if it runs with the BIOS all as it is now in AUTO. If not you will have to start by adding MCH and manually setting the DDR2 voltage t 1.9V. Or just use the above settings.

          No drivers? What do you mean? The gigabyte CD runs automatically when you stick it in within windows and you click on Express Install to install drivers. I thought you got all that set, since you are now online and such as said above

            no no i mean i didnt know if the RAM needed drivers?

            Ok well i stuck the other stick in.. and it booted up fine. WIndows shows me as having 3.25 Gigs right now..

            Thats the most I can use with 32 bit right??

              Re: Just installed all hardware. Trying to load windows

              Ahhh, NO. No drivers for ram. I just had you install windows with one stick so it would for sure be stable for you, and windows would not give you issues.

              Yep, that is about it for 32bit

                  Re: Just installed all hardware. Trying to load windows

                  Yeap, if you want to start overclocking. If not read some more stickies and get familiar with things. It is a learning process, so be ready for some obstacles a little. Just dont get mad, if you do leave it till another day.

                  F11 on the MAIN Page of the BIOS is Save, F12 is Load. You can create a Profile now of what is stock, called stock or whatever then esc back out to the MAIN Page and Save F11. Then just make the changes, and esc back to MAIN page and hit F11 again, use the arrow to move down to the next line and name this profile, Overclocking attempt or similar. Then you can switch back and forth anytime you want to work on things
