Best BIOS settings for a GA-ep45-ds4?

Hey folks, just wondering if you could help me.

Iv got a q9550
4GB ram
4780X2
GA-ep45-ds4

And i was just wondering what you guys recommended settings wise on bios to get the bet performance without overclocking?
On a side note iv also just built this system and im getting idle CPU temp at 48-50 and 65 under load is this too high?

Just upgraded from an old p4 3ghz, 1950xt graphics card and 2gb of slow ram and i thought i would be able to play my older games now with everything on max without a stutter but thats not the case.

Only tonight i tried neverwinter night 2 with everything on max and it stutterd, surely i should be able to run this full whack now? Sorry for a convoluted post but so many questions flying through my head at the min.

Is that 2x 2GB sticks or is it 4x 1GB? If you dont manually put the voltage up for 2GB DIMMs, this can negatively affect your performance.

Your CPU temps seem around normal (im guessing your using a stock cooler), that shouldnt affect the performance too much.

Ya, we would need to know your exact ram amount like 2x1 or 2x2, and model and speed would also be needed as well.

I can get you a full list of better settings for stock with no overclock once you post that info.

Windows Vista 64 bit edition.
Akasa 965BL cpu fan and heatsink
Enermax galaxy 850w
1TB samsung F1 spinpoint
Samsung 22spedd DVD/DVD-R Drive
Gigabyte 3D aurora Case.

Iv not touched any bios settings yet other than to turn on warning sounds should it overheat and enable USB ports.

Ok, here is some settings for CPU at stock, and ram at 1066. Look on your ram sticker for the DDR2 voltage, I see 2.2-2.4 online, but it cold be different so just check to be sure. I will put 2.1-2.2 in the settings. 2.1 will likely be fine, 2.4 is the warrantied amount

The subtimings I enter, will be ranges. Start with the highest, and work your way down one at a time testing with Memtest86+ between each move. Otherwise you will not know which setting change is giving you errors >>>

I will leave CPU at stock, and a few other things since you are not overclocking. Should you decide to overclock post back for some other settings
