Re: unable to access advanced BIOS
oh what i needed to learn first myself was the fact that you need to be in the main (startup) screen for it to work (you'll notice a brief flicker when activating)
you won't be getting to anywhere from there it will just unhide a few more mostly useless options (so you have to go look for them ;) )
edit:
example:
advanced settings:
"boot up numlock status"
"boot up floppy seek"
....stuff like that, it used to have more significance on nother brand or board..forgot the detailsLast edited by Rewl; 01-15-2008, 12:51 PM.GA-Z77X-UD5H # F16-mod8

Re: unable to access advanced BIOS
Thank you
If, you are referring to the CMOS setup utility with standard BIOS in red on the left side as the start up screen, still don't get it .Holding down ctrl and hit F1 I get a flicker but no new information. Don't really need this it just agitates me when i can't make something work the way the way it is supposed to.Build 10 November 07 so far not even a hiccup. No over clocking

Re: unable to access advanced BIOS
check advanced bios ,2nd item in left column after you reboot and get to bios. Then go back to main screen hold down ctrl and hit F1. Back to advanced bios screen and you will note several more items.
Like the man says, there is not much of any consequence.Build 10 November 07 so far not even a hiccup. No over clocking
