Make sure you have the molex connectors plugged into the card, secondly that almost certainly isn't enough power for that card and the rest of your PC.

Re: ga-p35 ds3l long beep at startup

Personally I would've had at least a good quality 520W+ PSU.

Very likely the strain that that little 400W has been under all that time that it's finally called it quits at trying to keep up with your hardware.

                          HI

i took my p.c to the lab again, the p.c was there for 36 hrs.
when i came there we conected the p.c to power and no beep at all
the p.c was cold after long night without use it)
on same day i called to the lab(evening) and ask the tech to turn on the p.c:no beep'
next day morning the tech turn on the p.c no beep.
so i came to the lab and took my p.c home, turn it on, guess what: a long beep!!
i now have 600 watts ups but i'ts not fixing the problem .

An idea: Are the same peripheral components being used at the lab as at home? Have you tried a different mouse, keyboard, and monitor?
