I have an Asus Aspire V3-112p laptop running Linux Mint. Intermittently the mouse/trackpad stops responding, freezing on the screen. The temporary "fix" has been to disable/enable the trackpad using the Fn-F7 hotkeys. I have been experiencing this no matter what OS I am running. I can't believe this is a hardware problem if it's "solved" by hitting some keys.
