Hi there.
Here is a question about mobo P10S-M-DC and its CPU compatibility.
About a year ago I assembled a DIY server with based on P10S-M-DC and i5-7400 and all went not so good.
This system may work for weeks absolutely stable. But then strange things like random BSODs, hangs or endless restart loop after powering it on happened. I changed every single component in this PC but the problem still exist.
It passed POST with all i5s 7th gen I've tried.
A while ago a found that this MB doesn't support i5 CPUs AT ALL. Surprise-surprise! cause I've already used a lot of C226 ASUS MBs with i5s without any trouble and I couldn't even imagine situation like that.
So the question. Are thous issues caused by CPU incompatibility?
And if YES how can it POST and boot and works at all?
Guys give me a hand please cause I've absolutely lost. Thnx for your attention.
P.S. I try to RMA this MB but my local service center couldn't find any problems with it and returned it to me.
