  • Overheating problem

Hi Everyone. This is my first post, so bear with me if I make any mistakes. I built a computer for my Mum last year and I have had a lot of issues with it. I have got an ASUS A78M-E Motherboard with a AMD A4-7300 APU, running 4 Gig DDR3 Ram, DVD W/R and 500 Gig Hard Drive. Operating system is Win 7 Ultimate 64bit. Problem is that even at idle the APU temp is 43 Degrees C. When I used Speccy to check the system it then peaked at 83 degrees C. Every time I start using any programs, the temp goes right up. I have had to replace the APU as I cooked the first one under normal operation. I set the computer up again with a new APU and it is continuing to do the same.
I am thinking that I will have to replace the motherboard to rectify the problem. Any suggestions?
