Hi all,
Recently my ASUS N56VZ laptop has failed to charge my battery. It will indicate that the percentage available is 1%, that the laptop is plugged in, and that it is charging. Occasionally, the little battery icon will show it is charging with a battery continuously filling up.
Has anyone come across this issue before? My first thought was that I needed a new battery but after doing a quick search on google, it appears that may not be the case. Some suggest to let the battery completely drain while others says you have to uninstall the microsoft acpi listings. In all the cases I was able to come across, their situations differed in that their laptops stated no charging was taking place.
My laptop is a little over a year old and I thought the battery should last longer than that. Any help is much appreciated.
