System specs,
X99 5820k OC'd 4.2ghz
32gb Ram
2xAsus Srix gtx970's
Ok so the problem is after just recently adding a second GPU, the SLI doesn't appear to work, I know i have everything plugged in the correct slots etc and the SLI configuration in Nvidia says maximised for 3D performance. I've tried both cards on there own and they both are working fine. When i run any game that supports SLI I can see that the both cards are being used but the gameplay\frame rates are worse than when i run just 1 card.
Now the odd thing is that in Nvidia control panel under "Configure SLI" I can see both cards shown one as Geforce GTX 970 (1) and the other as Geforce GTX 970 (2), all monitor cables are plugged in to card 1 I.E the top card but they are shown as being plugged into card 2?????
