Hello, I own a Z170M Extreme 4 motherboard.
I decided to completely get rid of any and all my sata drives and instead use the M.2 slot for my OS (My NAS is what does my storage)
Since I currently own an MSATA drive (for the time being), I bought an M.2 to MSATA adapter (such as this) as a stopgap (until I'll decide to buy a real M.2 drive).
The installation went in a jiffy (incredibly easy). My only issue is that it is simply not detected by neither the bios nor the Windows installation (after following this guide).
What am I doing wrong?
