Can AM1H-ITX boot from PCIe?

I have a SM951 in a M.2 to PCIe adapter and can't get the bios to see it...of course Windows (10) sees it. I've attempted a fresh UEFI install, but bios still doesn't see it :(

Is there something I should be doing that I'm not? Or is just not possible?
