ASRock X99 Extreme 6 3.1 - Driver Question
Hi everyone,
I hope you are well. When it comes to drivers I am a bit OCD and I am running into an issue with the ASRock Extreme 6 3.1 where I am unsure which driver to use for the board. In device manager, under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers it appears that windows is using the default "standard" driver. I believe that I can use an Intel RST driver here instead of the default. When I manually select the inf during the driver install it still defaults to the standard driver. I know I can manually select the driver to use but am unsure which one to use.
TL;DR - What driver should I be using for my IDE ATA/ATAPI controller when selecting manually from the Intel RST driver INF?
