C2550D4I won't boot

Hi,
My newly bought C2550D4I won't boot (I get no video).
The standby led is on, the heartbeat led is blinking but I also have the four red leds blinking in this pattern : 4 blinks, pause, 4 blinks, pause, etc. Does this mean anything ?
I tried several non-ECC ram sticks working perfectly on another motherboard with no luck.
Could this mean the board is dead ?

asrock c2550d4i works best with ecc unregistered ram

check the links to see if the ram you have is compatible

Make sure you clear the BIOS. Leave the clear jumper in place several minutes better yet remove the CMOS battery a while and then replace.
