MB: Asrock 970 Extreme4
CPU: AMD Phenom IIx4 965
Mem: 2x8 gb G.Skill Ripjaws
PSU: thermaltake 700
The System began booting up intermittently but now will not boot at all. Fans run but system boot stops at code 06 (microcode loading). Checked ram memory (in another computer) and found one stick bad, but computer will still not boot using only the good stick. Earlier attempts to get the computer running included a lot of pushing the "Clear CMOS" button (sometimes with the power on) and now I'm wondering if I screwed up the BIOS chip. Is there a way to check this out? Any help certainly appreciated.
