ASRock X99 Extrme6 (/ac or not)
I'd just like to start a thread on this motherboard for future discussion. I used to provide support on the ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA in the Anandtech thread and would enjoy trading tips here on my new build.
So far, no major problems to report. I am still in the baby stages of exploring the BIOS. One early discovery is that enabling the PCI space above 4GB is a no-go for me; Windows 8.1 would not boot. Touching the BIOS backup options (whatever the name is exactly) leads to a worrying and long screen with no feedback; not for the faint-hearted.
