If you don't have any other DDR3 memory you can try to use, then I always suggest a model listed in a board's memory support list:
ASRock > FM2A88M Extreme4+
Of course there are very few models listed in the 1600/4GB section. From there you can go to a memory manufactures website, and see what they suggest for your specific board.
If you check models in the 1600/2GB section, see if a manufacture listed there makes the same model in 4GB DIMM sizes. For example, G.SKILL's NB, BHZ, or ECO models will almost certainly have 2 x 4GB kits of the same model.
