I installed this 16GB kit on my Z87 Extreme4: http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/K...D3B1K2_16G.pdf. The memory is running on standard JEDEC timings and I'm trying to OC it up to the 1600MHz 10-10-10 at 1.5v.
Now, this memory shouldn't have support for XMP profiles according to the data sheet and some googling. Yet in bios I can see one XMP profile for the memory with the proper timings. Is it safe to use this profile or should I just go ahead and set the timings manually?
