Connecting OUT 2 HDMI Cables?

I haven't started installing everything yet and thinking about various possibilities while reading about usinng Virtu MVP with my FM2A85X Extreme6 + A10 5800K APU........and the instructions tell you that in order to use both discrete Graphics Card combined with the APU's HD 7660D you would plug into the MObo's HDMI OUT, and to go with JUST the discrete G. Card youu sould go OUT from the HDMI on the G. Card.....makes sense eh? OK - what happens IF you have two HDMI INPUTS on your monitor [like mine] can you safely connect BOTH HDMI Outputs to the monitor and have it function in Dual mode or what????
