ASRock Pro3 Gen3 stuck on startup screen for 8+ minutes

In the past couple of weeks, whenever i start up my computer, the ASRock Pro3 Gen3 startup screen is displayed for around 8 minutes before the motherboard finally 'beep's and the computer starts up. I'm not aware of doing any software updates, but something has to have changed. If you have any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.
