    When I go to system under control panel to show my memory shows 8 gb 3.00 gb usable. I am running windows 7 32 bit, Cpu Amd fx 8150,motherboard 970 Extreme3, bios UEFI, Memory ripjaws 2 4 gb ddr3- 1600. Does this mean I 'm only running 3gb of the 8gb i have what is going on. Please help me

    Very simple, Windows 32 bit only supports 4GB of memory per spec, and in actual use is about 3GB. Nothing can be done to change that, besides using a 64 bit version of Windows.

    Your PC will support a 64 bit OS. You could purchase an upgrade to 64 bit. Your current Windows license is for the 32 bit version, so it might not accept your activation code if you downloaded the Wndows 7 64 bit ISO installation image and installed that. I've never done that, so don't know if it would work.

      Depends if it is a retail version - then you could download 64 bit and install it.The licence should support this change, but will only work on full retail version not upgrade or oem.
