Hi everyone, i bought this ram in hope to get the best 8gb ram out there
Newegg.com - G.SKILL Trident X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C10D-8GTX
When i saw the Ram it said compactible with Z77 MOBO's, so i went with the Z77 Extreme 4.
Then at the first Feedback on NewEgg at this pair of Ram, someone with the same Mobo couln't get the ram to work @2400, he got stuck @ 2200
AsRock answered on newegg saying an Update is on the works for the MoBo supporting this pair of memory.
Well, I'm pretty desesparate.. Should I sell this MOBO and buy the Z77 Extreme 6? Is the Bios update really coming?? I'm stuck at 2000, not even the 2200 the other guy was having.
Also, i wonder if it has something to be that i'm currently using a 4pin connector for CPU, instead of the 8pin new standard. Maybe that extra voltage comes from that cable?
I hope the Bios Update comes soon. If it is coming
Thanks in advance
