  • ASRock P67 Extreme4 BIOS upgrade to L3.03 kills support for PCIe RAID Controller

I have a P67 Extreme4 motherboard that was previously running 2.x BIOS. I upgraded to 3.x in hopes for some UEFI enhancements, and the motherboard no longer recognizes my PCIe RAID controller.

The RAID controller is an LSI 9260-4i in the PCIe x16 slot. It was working perfectly fine with the motherboard until I updated to the latest official L3.10 bios, and now no longer starts the LSI firmware (i.e. does not see/recognize/support the RAID controller).

I'm very disappointed, to say the least - I was under the impression that BIOS updates never take features away, only enhance and add new new features. Anything I can do? Is it safe to flash back to 2.x? Where can I obtain a 2.x image in that case?

Can a mod please update the title to L3.10 not L3.03?
